| Georg Caspers has held the Chair of Civil Law and Labour Law at the Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nuremberg (FAU) since 2007. He studied law at the University of Freiburg (First State Exam: 1994/II) and obtained his PhD from the University of Freiburg in 1997. Subsequently, he completed his legal clerkship in Mainz and Freiburg (Second State Exam: 1998/II). From 1999 to 2005, he worked as a research assistant at the University of Freiburg where he completed his habilitation in 2007. His research focuses on the German law of obligations, labour law and bankruptcy law. Georg Caspers has published numerous contributions in academic journals and edited volumes. He is co-author of a textbook on German labour law. | |
